This How-to explains the soldier column rafter’s member data

Wind Column With Double Angle

1. The software details soldier columns using Double angle wind strut (TBA) or Single “C” struts (8JS-). 2. The data in all categories that describe the shape of the rafter are not editable and reflect what was originally generated. 3. The only way to change the strut (rafter) is by modifying the part number. 4. The graphical representation of the strut beam may be incorrect and will not change when you change the part number. This holds true of the erection drawing as well.
